About Dr. Fobi

Aloysius Fobi, MD, is an integrative medicine and pain management specialist at Sound Integrated Medical Center in Federal Way, Washington. 

Dr. Fobi earned his bachelor’s degree at Amherst College in Massachusetts, before completing his medical degree at the Oregon Health Science University (OHSU). Dr. Fobi then trained at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. He worked at Legacy Emanuel Hospital for 17 years and spent 8 years at Randall Children’s Hospital. Dr. Fobi currently serves as an associate professor at OHSU and as a medical consultant on legal matters. 

As a board-certified emergency medicine physician, Dr. Fobi has demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems in high-stakes, rapidly-changing situations, serving him well in his other professional pursuits. In addition to his medical background, Dr. Fobi is a self-described “serial entrepreneur” – he built the Eastern Oregon wireless internet provider Match Media in 2005, which has over 50-square miles of coverage and is still in business today. He has also been involved in over $8 million in real estate transactions, subdivision developments, and new constructions. Dr. Fobi is a founding member and currently the Vice President of Business Development at NurseGrid, which is a mobile scheduling and logistics platform that provides services to over 190,000 nurses.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travel as well as sharing his passion for soccer.
